This Refund & Return Policy explains how Aloera handles returns, replacements, and refunds for purchases made on Aloera.in By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
General conditions
- Due to the nature of Ayurveda, personal care, and wellness products, returns are limited to specific situations, such as damage in transit or a wrong item received.
- Products once opened, used, or tampered with cannot be returned or refunded for reasons of hygiene, safety, and product integrity.
- Any issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, along with required proof as described in this Policy.
Eligible cases for refund or replacement
You may be eligible for a refund or replacement only in the following cases:
- Product received in damaged condition
- If the product is damaged, leaking, broken, or significantly tampered with at the time of delivery, you may request a refund or replacement.
- A complete and clear unboxing video is mandatory. The video must:
- Start before opening the outer courier package.
- Show the shipping label, sealed package, and the entire unboxing process without cuts or edits.
- If the video clearly proves that the item arrived damaged, a refund or replacement will be processed as per your choice and stock availability.
- Wrong item received (incorrect product)
- If you receive a different product than what you ordered (for example, a wrong variant, fragrance, or pack size), you must notify us within 48 Hours of delivery.
- A clear unboxing video and photos of the received product and invoice are required.
- In such cases:
- We will arrange to send the correct item or guide you through the process to receive it.
- Refunds are not provided for wrong-item cases; only replacement or correct item delivery will be offered.
Non-eligible cases (no refund / no replacement)
Refunds or replacements will not be provided in the following situations, including but not limited to:
- Change of mind, dislike of fragrance/texture/packaging, or subjective dissatisfaction after use (e.g., “I don’t like the smell/feel/texture/color” etc.).
- Reaction due to individual skin/hair/body conditions or allergies if the ingredient list was clearly disclosed; customers are advised to do a patch test before full use.
- Products used, opened, partially consumed, or with packaging intentionally damaged.
- Requests raised after the specified reporting window of 48 Hours from delivery.
- Failure to provide required proof (unboxing video, images, invoice) or providing unclear/incomplete proof.
- Items purchased during special sales, clearance, or promotional offers that are marked as “non-refundable” or “final sale”.
Coupon codes, offers & pricing issues
- Non-use or incorrect use of coupon codes
- All coupon codes, promotional codes, and discount offers must be applied at the time of checkout.
- If you place an order without applying a valid coupon code, and then later request us to adjust the price, apply the coupon retroactively, or refund the price difference, such requests will not be accepted.
- We are not responsible for:
- Incorrect code entry.
- Expired or invalid coupons.
- Missing coupons due to user oversight at checkout.
- Price changes after purchase
- Prices, discounts, and offers are subject to change at our discretion.
- If the price of a product drops or a new offer appears after your purchase, you are not eligible for a partial refund or price adjustment.
Order cancellation
- Before dispatch: If you request a cancellation within 5 hours of placing your order and it hasn’t been processed yet, we’ll cancel it and issue a full refund to your original payment method.
- After dispatch: Once an order is shipped or out for delivery, cancellation is generally not possible. In such cases, the above refund rules apply only if there is damage or a wrong item received with proper proof.
Process to request a refund or replacement
To raise a complaint for damage or a wrong item, please follow these steps:
- Contact us at contact@aloera.in or 96266 22155 within 48 Hours of delivery.
- Share the following details:
- Order ID and date of purchase.
- Full name and contact number.
- Clear description of the issue (damaged item / wrong item).
- Mandatory unboxing video (as described above) and clear product photos (including batch number and outer packaging).
- Our team will review your request and evidence within 7 business days and inform you of the decision and next steps (refund, replacement, or rejection with reasons).
Refund method & timeline
- If your refund request is approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase (e.g., UPI, card, net banking, wallet).
- Refund timelines may vary by bank/payment provider, but generally may take 14 business days after we approve the request.
- We are not liable for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or other external payment processors.
Shipping for returns (if applicable)
- In cases where products must be picked up or returned:
- We will inform you whether a reverse pickup is available at your PIN code.
- If reverse pickup is not available, you may be asked to ship the product to a specified address; shipping instructions will be provided.
- Shipping costs:
- For approved damaged/wrong-item cases, return shipping costs or reverse pickup charges (if any) may be borne by us as per our discretion.
- For any unapproved or unauthorized returns, we will not be responsible for any shipping costs or losses.
Changes to this Refund Policy
We may update or modify this Refund & Return Policy at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on this page and will apply to all future orders placed after the revised date.
